Pregnant women should take vitamin D in the fall
It is not sunny in autumn. Pregnant women may be deficient in vitamin D. Vitamin D plays an important role in the formation and growth of fetal bones. If a pregnant woman is deficient in vitamin D, her child is more likely to develop osteoporosis as an adult.
