Teflon pots

Teflon pots are the most popular pot, but it is not a safe choice compared to other pots. Cadmium, a heavy metal found in most of them, enters food constantly in pots, increasing the risk of cancer and other diseases. Non-stick Teflon dishes are relatively light, easy to use, washable, and use less oil. Our suggestion to you is to use Teflon from reputable manufacturers and, in case of damage, stop cooking in it.

Cast iron pots

They have a long life and a very high weight. They are suitable for long and uniform cooking and are resistant to high temperatures. Cast iron is a metal that stays hot for a long time, making sure the pot you buy called cast iron does not contain aluminum. Cast iron is an alloy of iron and rusts the surface of a real cast iron pot. It should not be forgotten that the cast iron pot service is expensive and does not have much variety in terms of design and color.

Steel vases

They are healthier than other pots, have a longer lifespan, do not rust, and do not react to food. But they transfer heat directly, which means that food burns faster. They are suitable for cooking all kinds of stews and juicy foods. Use reputable brands that are multi-layered.

Ceramic pots

This pot is the newest type of kitchen service, does not have a non-stick coating and harmful compounds, and is somewhat resistant to corrosion and scratches. But care must be taken that the pieces do not enter the food. They have several layers on the body and bottom, and the ceramic layer is one of the layers on the pot’s body, and they distribute and transfer heat well. They are relatively expensive, so be careful when using them.

Granite vases

Among non-stick coatings, granite is the most durable and hardest of all. Granite retains heat due to the available materials and burns food later than ordinary dishes. Granite is very easy to clean. Reduces oil consumption due to non-stick; because granite is a natural substance, it does not change food taste.

There are other types of pot services that different brands mostly produce. We also introduce this type of cooking utensils that have special uses and are less used today.

Aluminum pots

Contrary to many people’s beliefs, the same products you see on the market are more aluminum than zinc! Zinc is suitable for pots but is rarely found. Aluminum is harmful to human health. Storing and cooking acidic foods such as lemon juice, broth, vinegar, and salt in these containers causes the aluminum to leak, enter the food, and cause many diseases and problems. Aluminum pots are cheap and lightweight.

The heat of these pots is spread evenly and quickly, and its sensitivity to impact causes them to change shape quickly.

Copper vases

They distribute heat well and evenly. Red copper oxidizes in the air and turns green, which is harmful to health. The inside of the copper is often covered with another metal to prevent copper from entering the food. Copper reacts with acidic and salty foods and changes the taste of food.

Glass pots

Pyrex glassware is one of the best cooking utensils. If these dishes are colorless, they are the healthiest choice for cooking, and because they are obvious inside, giving a special feeling to the kitchen. They last as long as they are not stuck and are not exposed to temperature shock. New models withstand high temperatures.

Enamelware pots

Enamelware coatings are often applied to ceramic or cast-iron dishes. The lifespan of the enamelware coating is limited, and shocks and heat fluctuations destroy it. These utensils are used to heat cans, cook juicy foods or store food in the freezer.
