  1. Enhance sexual health

In a study, women who experience a decrease in sex drive before menopause increased their sex drive, arousal, orgasm, and satisfaction from sex when they consumed supplements containing Kharkhasak. In this study, only 40 participants participated, so more research is needed to better understand Kharkhasak’s health benefits.

Kharkhasak was also tested on men with erectile dysfunction (ED) and low libido. Compared to those who only took a placebo, these subjects reported better sexual performance, relationship satisfaction, libido, and orgasm.

Although these results were promising, clinical trials evaluating the herb’s role in male sexual health have yielded conflicting results.

  1. Enhance sports performance

Due to its ability to stimulate testosterone production, this plant is popular among athletes. A person’s athletic performance is negatively affected by intense and long-term exercise, which suppresses testosterone production. Kharkhasak supplements can boost testosterone production and prevent this negative effect.

Kharkhasak supplementation did not improve athletic performance or body composition in a 2021 clinical study. More research is needed to confirm the benefits of Kharkhasak supplements for athletes, according to the authors of this article.

A study published in 2017 in the Journal of Sports Science and Health examined a group of trained boxers. There was no improvement in muscle mass or testosterone levels when taking milk thistle supplements in this study. In spite of this, these people had less muscle damage.
